I have designed literally thousands of multi-projector 35mm slideshows and computer-video slideshows over the years. At one point, I was designing and programming three 35mm multi-projector slideshows every day! Most were speaker-support presentations for sales proposals. But I also produced a lot of "group & grin" presentations, where we would follow a group of visitors around during the day and photograph them, then develop the film that night and assemble the slideshow for a presentation the next morning. Those were some very long days!
The two flash videos on the right are examples of just two different types of multimedia presentations. A potential employer wanted to see what I could do in Apple Keynote and asked that I put something together in a week. The big hurdle? I had never used Keynote in my life! So I put this presentation together in a week from a standing start.
The Way Launch video is typical of the 3-4 multimedia shows I would produce each week: a bunch of photos of varying quality and the request for a presentation same-day or next-day. For this one, I used a video editing program to put it all together in about an hour.
For speaker-support presentations I would typically use PowerPoint to design the show. Most presentations would include some video or audio, tons of photos, and maybe some hyperlink navigation if it was a large show.
